Questions people ask

How many base layers do I need for a week?
Three tops and two bottoms is enough. Merino can be worn several days running without complaint, which is the whole reason to pay for it.
What should I carry on the mountain rather than leave at the flat?
Lift pass, phone, a card, sun cream, water, a snack and a spare pair of gloves. That is one small backpack and no more.
What do people forget on a ski trip?
Sun cream — you burn faster at altitude, and off the snow as much as from the sky — plus lip balm, a boot bag, and swimwear for the pool at the hotel.
