A shared list, as everyone sees it

How it works

  1. Make the list

Name it, type your items. Nest them under headings if it is that kind of list. Nothing to install, nothing to sign up for.

  2. Share the link

Send it in WhatsApp or by message, or show the QR code to the phone standing next to you. Whoever opens it can edit it.

  3. Everyone ticks

Items tick off for everybody at once, on every phone. It keeps working with no signal and catches up when you are back.

What people use it for

Turning over rooms

A cleaning checklist nested room by room, with the QR code taped inside the linen cupboard. Staff scan it, work down the list, and mark rooms inspected. Next morning it resets to the start and is ready to run again.

Who is bringing the nets?

Eight people, one kit list, one link. Everyone claims what they are bringing so nobody arrives with the third first-aid kit and no balls. Water bottles shows 3 of 6 until somebody covers the rest.

Packing for the campsite

One list the whole family adds to for a fortnight, grouped by tent, kitchen and car. In the supermarket you filter it down to what is still to buy, which is exactly where the signal disappears, and where it keeps working anyway.

Questions people ask

Do I need an account?
No. Type a name, tap create, and the list exists. An account is only worth adding if you want your lists to follow you onto another device, and you can add one later without losing anything you have already made.
Is it really free?
Yes, and there is nothing to install. It runs in the browser; add it to your home screen if you would rather it behaved like an app.
Does it work without signal?
Yes. Ticking items off works with no connection at all (in a supermarket aisle, a car park, a campsite), and your changes sync as soon as you have one again.
Who can see my list?
Whoever has the link, and nobody else. Lists are not listed anywhere and do not appear in search results unless you choose to publish one.
How many people can share one list?
As many as you like. Everybody opens the same link and nobody needs an account. Add a display name and the list shows who ticked what and who is bringing which thing.
What happens to a list I stop using?
A list made without an account is kept for 90 days after its last change, then deleted. Sign in and your lists stay for as long as you want them.
